Most recently as vice president at Cumming Group, Ralph played an important role in accelerating the building of the company’s central region through new business strategies.
His wide range of experience from across the globe paired with a focus on authenticity have been key to the success of the practices he has worked to build. By putting people first and rising to challenges that exemplify the mantra of, “one band, one sound,” Ralph has his sights set on turning an environment of collective respect and inspiration into a national platform.
“Ralph brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to our talented architecture team. His leadership will elevate our architectural practice, drive innovation, and diversify our portfolio.”
– Scott Dreher, COO
Otak’s collective focus on community building and its portfolio of work were important draws for the architecture team’s new lead. Ralph voices excitement around collaborating with the collective strength of Otak’s whole organization to expand the way the company embraces the power of design with its clients around the world. Plans for the group include expanding the diversity of markets and the level of design expertise to build an inclusive, perpetual practice with the inertia to continually challenge the status quo. The results take aim at contributing to innovative solutions, robust marketing strategies, and profound client relationships.
The appointment of a new practice leader occurs at a time of renewal at Otak. Already impressed by the architecture team’s dedication to further develop the business side of design and their ability to weather substantial change, Ralph expresses confidence in the group’s drive to take control of their future and applauds the team for their commitment and ambition.
